Vidal/Wettenstein has busy year to date

Westport, CT Vidal/Wettenstein has had a very busy 2016 to date.  Since January, the Westport based commercial real estate firm has been responsible for the leasing and sale of over 265,000 s/f with an aggregate value in excess of $26.8 million.  Listed below are some of the transactions completed.

213 Danbury Rd. in Wilton which housed North American Pharmacal, was sold for $2.15 million.  David Fugitt, SIOR and Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR, were the brokers for the seller.  North American sold the property and relocated to 149 Water St. in Norwalk to leased space of 8,640 s/f.  Randy Vidal and Robert Lewis were the listing brokers.

303 Linwood Ave. in Fairfield is a multi-tenant office building and has been sold to E & J Twin Properties for $1.8 million.  Vidal was the listing broker.

Nuovo Pasta Production leased 19,500 s/f from the Stratford Development Company at 350 Long Beach Blvd. The space will be used for warehousing and distribution.  Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR negotiated the terms of the lease for Nuovo & SDC.

The Shake Shack property at 1849 Post Road East in Westport was sold as in investment property to Fin-Max Realty LLC for $3.96 million.  Lewis was the broker for both owner and purchaser.

Suzuki Music School has leased 7,500 s/f at 246 Post Road East in Westport.  The space will be used for musical instruction using the Suzuki methods.  David Fugitt, SIOR & Chris Maglione of Hastings co-brokered the 15 year lease.

280 Garfield Ave. was formerly occupied by Kaster Moving, which relocated to an 87,000 s/f building at 400 Long Beach Blvd.  The Garfield Ave., 27,000 s/f facility was leased to Jump Off, a recreational company with trampolines and a full recreational service program.  Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR was the listing broker and represented the tenant.

Griffin Hospital which had its walk in medical facility at Trap Falls Rd. in Shelton, relocated to a new state of the art facility at 10-12 Progress Dr. in Shelton.  The medical space is 7,800 s/f and had been completely fit out for Griffin Hospital by the Francini Company.  Wettenstein was the listing broker and represented Griffin Hospital.

48 Union Ave., Unit 1A is a 24,000 s/f industrial condominium in Stamford, and has sold to Mohawk Properties for $2.1 million.  Frank Brown of Cushman & Wakefield was the listing broker and Wettenstein represented Mohawk Properties.

Wurth Baer of West Haven has leased 19,750 s/f of industrial space at 40 Industry Dr. in West Haven.  The firm will be relocating from their present location on Frontage Rd.  Kristen Geenty, SIOR, of the Geenty Group represented Worth Baer and Wettenstein was the listing broker.
