Ward and Braseth of Colliers
facilitate $1.9 million industrial sale

Berwick, ME Colliers, a global leader in commercial real estate services, has finalized the sale of an industrial property, for $1.9 million, according to the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds. The property, located at 2 Industry Dr., includes two industrial buildings totaling 24,280 s/f on 8.43 acres.

Andrew Ward and Tim Braseth of Colliers represented the seller, Mick Construction Corp., in the transaction and assisted the buyer, Two Industry Drive, LLC. The deal was partially financed by Strafford Economic Development Corp. of New Hampshire. At the time of sale, the property was 76% leased to four tenants.

“This was a unique opportunity to connect the seller with a buyer who had been searching for just the right fit,” said Ward. “We’ve been working with the buyer for several years to find a location that would support the growth of their business, and when this listing came to market, we knew it was a great match for both parties.”

The buyer, Two Industry Drive, LLC, will use the site to support the expansion of their business, a portable container storage company based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

While the property is in Maine, according to Strafford Economic Development Corp. the acquisition is expected to generate positive economic ripple effects across the border in New Hampshire, with the infrastructure to expand operations and create new employment opportunities throughout the greater Seacoast region.
