Washington Trust provides $1.075 million financing of retail property

Leominster, MA Washington Trust’s commercial real estate group provided $1.075 million in financing to H&A Kaufman Realty, LLC, for the acquisition of a 7,225 s/f retail property.

Construction on the property, located along Rte. 12, at 780 Central St., was completed early this year to accommodate its sole tenant, O’Reilly Auto Parts. O’Reilly Auto Parts is one of the largest specialty retailers of automotive aftermarket parts, tools, supplies, equipment and accessories in the United States, serving both the do-it-yourself and professional service provider markets.

“The Kaufman family have been long term clients for our company and we are pleased to be able to expand our relationship further with the financing of this well placed retail asset,” said Julia Anne Slom, senior vice president & team leader of Washington Trust’s commercial real estate group.

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
