Anytime Fitness, a 24-hour neighborhood-style health club, has signed a 4,174 s/f long term lease with Waterstone Retail at Brick Kiln Plaza, 99 Chelmsford Rd. Waterstone and Destefano & Associates have commenced the build out of the space, which is expected to be completed soon. Anytime Fitness is scheduled to open by mid-December of this year and is currently pre-selling membership opportunities.
Anytime Fitness caters to members with a busy schedule and on-the-go lifestyle by providing a 24-hour, 7-day per week, 365-day per year exercise facility. Members enjoy state of the art strength training and cardiovascular equipment in a friendly setting. Anytime Fitness also offers unlimited tanning and membership reciprocity among its clubs, which allows members to use any of the more than 1,200 clubs that are currently open in the United States, Canada, and Australia.
The Anytime Fitness lease represents the filling of the last remaining space at Brick Kiln Plaza (with the exception of an additional 10,000 s/f downstairs - currently available for storage, professional office or low-impact retail). The center mix includes two successful restaurants - Casa Blanca and Buono Panini - a hair salon, dry cleaner, real estate office and three new businesses that opened this year: Unique Boutique Clothing, Gotta Dance and The Billerica Auto School.
The plaza is located on the Chelmsford/Billerica town line next to the Chelmsford Forum Ice Skating Rink and serves the area's residents and large day-time work force. It is considered a convenient, one-stop shopping destination and is a brand-new shopping plaza to the area, having been constructed in 2007/8. The property has excellent visibility and access from Rte. 129 and is located directly at the Exit (29) off Rte. 3.
