There are three large projects that are most notable for our firm. Meriel Marina Bay, Avalon North Point in Cambridge and the Jefferson project in Malden. All three projects utilized nearly a double podium concept with five levels of wood above to create nearly seven stories of wood framed construction. The Avalon project used PT concrete for the podiums and the other two projects used a steel frame. All three projects utilized the ability of wood to provide 5 levels of cost-effective housing over two levels of parking below in dense urban areas.
