2020 Women in Construction: Shay Callahan, Assistant Project Manager at Callahan Construction Managers
Who or what inspired you to join the construction industry? My family, specifically my father, uncles, and grandparents played a big part in inspiring me to join the construction industry. Initially I liked the idea of working for the family and being able to represent what they have all worked so hard to create. Now, in addition to the family aspect, I really enjoy the challenge construction provides and the gratification you get every time a project is completed.
When I’m not working I am…Enjoying time with friends, family, and my dog – Dozer.
