How do you use social media to promote yourself and/or the company/firm? Mainly through the various conferences and consulting assignments I'm involved with. Also through our CBRE marketing department and LinkedIn.
If you could choose one thing differently when you first started, what would it be? Be a part of a senior team for mentoring purposes.
What advice would you give women just starting out in Commercial Real Estate? Take as many courses as one can, get broker status as soon as possible, and have a mentor to help guide.
During the last 5 years of your career, which professional accomplishment, honor, or achievement has meant the most to you and why? Working with researchers from the various universities, seeing their hard work and dedications to finding new cures for mankind. Also, being part of the Little Baby Face Foundation, helping to transform the lives of children with facial deformities.
When was the first time you realized that you were meant to be in the CRE Industry? I had taken the residential real estate license, and realized that I was analytical in nature and residential was 80% emotion and 20% business. Commercial was 80% business and 20% emotion.
What are 3 words that describe your company atmosphere: Respect, service, and excellence.
When you think of the CRE Industry, what are 3 words that come to mind: Forward thinking, trend setting, progressive
What are 3 things you will try doing or accomplishing in the next 10 years? Help develop research clusters with Universities, continue to develop hyperbaric oxygen treatment centers for veterans and continue with the Little Baby Face Foundation in bringing children to NY for facial deformity surgeries in hopes to transform their lives into confident children that will help them to have a more meaningful life.
