Yacobian of Cummings Properties and Stubblebine arrange 11,000 s/f lease

CLASS, Inc. is moving and expanding its operations to an 11,000 s/f space at 50 Concord St. The nonprofit serves more than 400 individuals with disabilities and their families throughout northeastern Mass., providing services that include assistive technology, employment services, and family resources and advocacy. CLASS required a larger space that included classrooms, recreation areas, and offices that offered convenient access for disabled clients and their families. The building on Concord St. is accessible to I-93 and the surrounding communities of Andover and Reading. It includes useful outdoor space and a large parking area. Robert Yacobian, leasing director with Cummings Properties, worked with Micah Stubblebine of Stubblebine Co. on the lease. This lease prompted Cummings' 2,500 s/f expansion and renovation of its Concord St. campus, completed in April. "The Concord Street location was perfect for CLASS in every way, with the exception of size," said Yacobian. "We are fortunate to have the in-house ability to expand the building, both to meet the client's needs and to improve the building and its frontage on Concord Street." CLASS was recently designated an early decision recipient of a 2014 Cummings Foundation "$100K for 100" grant. CLASS, Inc. has been providing employment, health, transportation, and other services for adults with disabilities since 1976.
