Elaine Const. has successful 2007
2007 was an extraordinary year for Elaine Construction, a full-service construction management firm, with several notable milestones including its 60th year celebration, Lisa Wexler taking the helm as president, 20% revenue growth, new corporate headquarters, LEED certification for its premises, prestigious new client projects, among others.
Lisa Wexler, the 3rd generation of Wexlers, took over as president with former president Ken Wexler moving into the chairman position. With this new leadership, Elaine was awarded certification by Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
Elaine relocated to its new 7,000 s/f offices in a mill building complex known as Echo Bridge, in Newton Upper Falls. Elaine followed LEED principles and is currently pursuing gold certification.
Chairman Ken Wexler received two honors: the first ever CoreNet Legacy Award and was appointed to the Mass. School Building Authority (MSBA) Designer Selection Panel.
Senior project manager Bob Baker and chief estimator Brian Russo both received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professional Accreditation.
BuildBoston 2007 featured director of client services Lori Stewart Coletti.
Emerson College, Choate Hall & Stewart, Boston Coach, Tufts University, and TD Banknorth topped Elaine's new relationships in 2007.
Expanding existing relationships with longtime clients include MIT, Burns & Levinson, and Hologic, with several new and project initiatives underway.
