Mashpee, MA Delphi Construction was honored with an award from The Massachusetts Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors during the 25th annual Excellence in Construction Awards ceremony. Delphi was recognized for their outstanding work on a multi-million dollar custom residential construction project in Marstons Mills.

Delphi COO Keith Shaw said that winning the award for this project was particularly satisfying as it marks the first project done under Delphi’s “Special Projects” banner. “The idea behind Delphi Special Projects was to combine the production efficiencies and mature management processes employed in our commercial work with the highest quality craftsmanship demanded in high end residential construction. We feel honored that our industry peers have recognized our work in that regard with this award”.

The award winning project consisted of the new construction of an architecturally distinctive, 11,000 s/f custom waterfront residence and 3,000 s/f guest house in coastal Marstons Mills on Cape Cod. By applying highly developed scheduling methodologies Delphi was able to reduce what would typically be an 18-24 month duration for a residential project of this size and complexity down to 15 months from start to substantial completion.

Over 200 ABC members gathered at the Boston Marriott Burlington Hotel to recognize and celebrate the very best construction projects its companies have to offer during the 25th annual Excellence in Construction Awards. This year’s applicant pool was particularly competitive, with each award winner selected for the high standards of craftsmanship, safety and quality. “Our companies are committed to providing the highest quality work in a safe and efficient manner,” said ABC MA president Greg Beeman. “Tonight was a great night to recognize their achievements and celebrate the merit shop construction industry as a whole”.

Delphi senior project manager, Corey Heaslip along with assistant project manager, Sue Ellen Walker along with other representatives from Delphi Construction’s Cape Cod office accepted the award on the company’s behalf.
