NEREJ and South Shore Chamber host South of Boston Summit at The Lantana

Randolph, MA The South Shore Chamber of Commerce and the New England Real Estate Journal (NEREJ) have teamed up to co-host the inaugural South of Boston Summit. The event was held on Wednesday March 28 at The Lantana, 43 Scanlon Dr.

The half-day program offered updates on current commercial projects, provided economic development insight, networking opportunities and vendor engagement.

The summit began with networking and breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by a presentation and discussion program schedule: 

• 9-10 a.m.: Market overview, banker, broker and construction

• 10-11 a.m.: Current development projects

• 11 a.m. - Noon: Economic development

• Noon - 1 p.m.: Networking with speakers and attendees.

Summit speakers included Peter Forman of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, Peter McPhee of Mass. Clean Energy Center, Jeff Tocchio of Drohan Tocchio & Morgan, Judi Barrett of the Town of Plymouth, Keith Shaw of Delphi Construction, Robert Stevens of the City of  Quincy, James Dunphy of South Shore Bank, Richard Beal of A.W. Perry, Matt Barry of LStar Ventures, Joseph Sullivan of the City of Braintree, Frank Giglio of F.P. Giglio Enterprises and Tyler Hilson of Perry Brokerage.

“The 55-year old New England Real Estate Journal has been producing commercial real estate conferences for over three years in the New England and New York area,” said Rick Kaplan, event director for NEREJ. “We are excited to be partnering with the South Shore Chamber to produce our first annual South of Boston Summit. With all the great real estate projects going on south of Boston this is a perfect time to spotlight what the southern part of Massachusetts has to offer.”
