What are you most looking forward to post-pandemic? The thing I look forward to most, professionally, after the pandemic is being able to celebrate our project milestones and company successes together as a team. While we have been able to adapt and be creative with those things, a big piece of our company culture is missing without being able to get everyone together in fun and different ways.

What steps have you taken to ensure the continued success of your firm? I invest in our people. Callahan Construction Managers can only be as good as the people we employ to represent us. I make a firm effort to invest in the happiness, wellness, competence, and success of our employees every day.

Starting out in the construction business, who or what empowered you? My first job opportunity came about through the Women at Wentworth event when a recruiter from a local company took an interest in me. She thought I had potential and pulled me out of my comfort zone to try something new. Colleagues throughout my career have continued to do the same thing - believe in me and challenge me to be my best self. This empowers me to do my job well every day.
