Gregory Bradford
Partner in Real Estate Department
Nutter

“Gregory Bradford exemplifies what it means to be a rising star in the legal profession. At Nutter, Gregory has significantly grown the firm’s profile among clients in real estate, energy and nonprofit sectors. Gregory’s work ethic, judgment, and instincts consistently set him apart. He is one of those rare attorneys who is equally adept at handling technically complex legal issues and building genuine, lasting client relationships. His work has not only expanded Nutter’s reach into new sectors but has also positioned us to play a more meaningful role in our clients’ long- term success.” - Marianne Ajemian, Chair, Real Estate Department, Partner at Nutter, McClennen & Fish LLP.

What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? One of the projects I’m most proud of was helping a nonprofit Catholic high school, Notre Dame Cristo Rey, acquire a new campus in Methuen. The school serves a predominantly low- income student population, and the transition to a new facility was critical to its continued success. The transaction was complex, but the mission was clear, and it was incredibly rewarding to contribute to something that directly benefits vulnerable students and families. I’ve continued helping the school with a few other legal matters, and being part of that project team was a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

If you could give advice to someone just starting out in your field, what would it be? Don’t be afraid of the work – lean into it. The job becomes meaningful and enjoyable when you take ownership and push beyond the basic requirements. Some of the most rewarding moments in my career have come from doing the work that might seem less prestigious on the surface but they’re the moments that build trust and open the door to long- term client relationships. Find mentors and peers early by attending events and joining trade groups relevant to your work. It’s all interconnected and building your community sooner rather than later will make your career more fulfilling.
