What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? A recent professional milestone I am most proud of is being recognized for my hard work and dedication by being promoted to Senior Project Manager. I pride myself on delivering exceptional client service, starting with proper planning while also being adaptable to best problem solve our clients ever- changing needs. I’ve worked with many different clients and companies over the years, and much of the repeat business is due to the client’s satisfaction with the project team. It is an honor to be recognized for my accomplishments and efforts over my first 13 years in the construction industry.

If you could give advice to someone just starting out in your field, what would it be? The advice I’d give someone starting out in the construction industry is to keep learning and be a sponge for knowledge. The learning process doesn’t stop when you receive your degree. Early in your career, you meet co- workers, design professionals, and subcontractors who have years of experience in all facets of construction projects. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and use your contacts as resources. Being successful requires a commitment to continuing education as well, invest time in learning through job related certifications, licenses and continuing education opportunities.
