What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? My proudest accomplishment has been passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. After college, I didn’t immediately pursue a path to professional licensure. It was four years after I graduated that I decided I wanted to advance myself as a civil engineer. It was then a challenge to re- learn the exam material and it also involved many late nights working through practice problems. Passing the FE exam gave me a huge sense of fulfillment for all the hard work and dedication it required.

Who has played a pivotal role in your development, and how have they influenced you? My mentors and colleagues at Hancock Associates have played a pivotal role in my development as a civil engineer. Their willingness to educate and provide guidance to the next generation of civil engineers is special. They lead by example and strive for perfection. It has influenced me to be a better engineer.
