Who or what inspired you to join the AEC industry? I joined the construction industry because I wanted a hands-on job where I could physically see the progress of a project and participate in it from beginning through completion. Through my college experience, I decided that I preferred working as part of a team rather than focusing solely on parts design or assembly, as I would have in engineering. The construction industry allows me to interact with many different people on a daily basis and lets me understand how the systems I studied in engineering are applied in the project. This industry really celebrates its wins, and it’s awesome to see so many people come together for a common goal, whether it is maintenance work or a large ground-up project.
As we enter the spring of 2026, the Rhode Island industrial real estate market stands on stable footing, following several years of resilience fueled by constrained supply, steady demand, and dynamic economic conditions.
