Baylow named EYP’s New England higher education market leader

Boston, MA EYP Architecture & Engineering appointed Christopher Baylow, AIA, to New England higher education market leader. With an impressive portfolio of national and international projects and more than 25 years of proven design, business development, and management experience, his expertise lies in designing for the ever-changing paradigm of academic science and understanding the critical role building performance plays in the design of high technology buildings. In his new position, Baylow will partner with EYP’s higher education sector team to build upon its successes, leading efforts to strengthen and expand the firm’s presence in the academic research building sector and overall New England marketplace.

A sought after speaker for numerous national conferences as well as a published author, Baylow is a demonstrated leader in high-performance design and in overseeing complex projects. His extensive career includes projects for a variety of prominent clients, including Penn State University, Tufts University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University, Duke University, and the National University of Ireland, Galway. Prior to joining EYP, Baylow served as associate principal at Payette in Boston where he was responsible for leading many of the firm’s most sophisticated academic science projects.

Baylow received a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University. A registered architect in Massachusetts, he is a member of the Boston Society of Architects, Society for College and University Planning, and I2SL (the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories).
