Bierbrier Development renews 5,405 s/f lease for Men's Warehouse
According to Bierbrier Development Inc., a Lexington, Mass.-based developer of urban shopping centers celebrating its 40th year in business in Eastern Massachusetts, Men's Wearhouse has renewed a 5,405 s/f retail lease at Wellington Circle Plaza. One of North America's largest specialty retailers of men's apparel, Men's Warehouse as the successor to Anderson Little has had a presence at this plaza for more than 50 years.
"We are very pleased that Men's Wearhouse has renewed its lease at Wellington Circle Plaza where its store has been for more than 50 years," said Len Bierbrier, president and CEO of Bierbrier Development, which owns and manages the 55,000 s/f shopping center. "We also renewed lease of Bank of America ATM at the center where now two-way traffic count reaches 204,000 cars per day."
Russell DeMartino, vice president of development at Bierbrier Development, represented the landlord in the transaction. Men's Wearhouse was represented by its vice president Charles Reilly.
Bierbrier Development has owned the Wellington Circle Plaza since 1985.
Wallingford, CT O,R&L Commercial has completed the $3.8 million sale of a mixed-use investment property located at 33-39 North Main St. and 24-25 Wallace Ave. in the town center.
