Callahan and Northbridge break ground on Laurentide at Mashpee

South Mashpee, MA Callahan Construction Managers (Callahan), commemorated the launch of construction on Laurentide at Mashpee Commons, a new senior living property developed by Northbridge Companies.

Located at 64 Great Neck Rd., Laurentide will feature appointed apartments, a full calendar of social programs, locally-sourced dining and maintenance-free living. The community is located in the master planned Mashpee Commons neighborhood, which offers residents access to a selection of stores, restaurants, and entertainment.

“We have been serving seniors from the Cape for 10 years with our Plymouth communities Stafford Hill and Laurelwood. When we were given the opportunity to create a senior living community adjacent to Mashpee Commons, we knew this was the perfect place for us to enable seniors to stay on Cape,” said Wendy Nowokunski, president and co-founder of Northbridge Cos., “We are thrilled to be working with our long-time partner, Callahan, to bring a wonderful new choice to area seniors and their families.”

Laurentide is Northbridge Companies’ 16th community within the New England region. The project is slated for a summer 2018 completion and will include 70 apartments withthree lifestyle options: independent living, assisted living and Northbridge’s signature Avita memory care program. Amenities at Laurentide will include a gracious dining room, pub and lounge, library, landscaped walking paths and sunroom, among many other features.
