CBL leases 37,000 s/f to Forever 21 and 29,000 s/f to Steinhafels

According to CBL & Associates Properties, Inc., Forever 21 has leased space at West Towne Mall and Steinhafels Furniture has leased space at East Towne Mall. The leases mark the latest progress on CBL's continued success in re-leasing junior anchor locations that became available in 2008. The new 37,000 s/f Forever 21 and 29,000 s/f Steinhafels will locate in the former Steve & Barry's locations at the malls. Steinhafels celebrated its grand opening on July 31. Forever 21 is scheduled to open this fall. "We are excited about the addition of Forever 21 and Steinhafels at West Towne and East Towne malls," said Stephen Lebovitz, president of CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. "CBL enjoys a dominant position in the Madison market with the ownership of both malls and we are pleased to further strengthen that position." East Towne Mall is an 840,000 s/f shopping center located at the intersection of East Washington Ave. (US 151), Zeier Rd. and Lein Rd. In addition to Steinhafels, East Towne Mall is anchored by Boston Store, JCPenney, Sears, Barnes & Noble, Dick's Sporting Goods and Gordmans. West Towne Mall is a 915,000 s/f shopping center located at the corner of West Madison Beltline (US 12) and Gammon Rd. In addition to Forever 21, West Towne Mall is anchored by Boston Store, JCPenney, Sears and Dick's Sporting Goods.
