The Construction Institute of the University of Hartford names keynote speakers for 2018 Women Who Build Summit

Hartford, CT The Construction Institute of the University of Hartford, has named the panels and keynote speakers for the 2018 Women Who Build Leadership and Networking Summit, a premier event for architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, owners/operators (AECO), lawyers, accountants, and other professionals in the industry. The event is being held Thursday, February 22 at the Goodwin College campus. 

Melody Currey, commissioner of the State of Connecticut, and Dr. Anamaria Popescu, PE, PMP, PSP, director of the Latin American Construction Practice, will serve as the keynote speakers. 

The Women Who Build Summit will feature panels including 

• Harnessing the Power of Business Owners;

• Interactive Presentation: Asserting Your Value;

• Women Innovators Transforming Our Industry; and

• Giving Back: Sharing Our Power.

The Construction Institute of the University of Hartford, is a non-profit, non-partisan association of diverse professions working to improve the construction industry by sharing knowledge, advancing relationships, and developing business leaders. 

The institute is known for high quality programs and professional education workshops, and meaningful opportunities for connecting with other dedicated industry professionals through committee work, speaking and writing opportunities, and networking at events.
