Coverys signs lease at One Financial - DPM hired as owner's representative
Diversified Project Management, Inc. (DPM), has been hired to provide comprehensive project management services for the relocation of Coverys, a leading provider of medical professional liability insurance for healthcare professionals.
Coverys is relocating its office from 101 Arch St. to One Financial Center. Christopher Rogers and Ellen Cullinan of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the company in the negotiation and execution of the lease which consists of 56,936 s/f of space.
The DPM team, led by senior project manager Denise Booras, has been hired to provide Coverys with comprehensive project management services including programming, construction administration, furniture, fixtures and equipment coordination (FF&E), and move planning. Visnick and Caulfield principal Jeff Seltzer will provide design and architectural services and the construction manager was selected in May. Occupancy is slated for January 2014.
In addition, DPM is leading the relocation efforts for Coverys' Lansing, MI and Morristown, NJ office locations. Both relocations are due to be completed in November.
The Lansing relocation will merge employees from two locations into 26,000 s/f and the Morristown project will triple their existing space in the new location to 4,000 s/f.
DPM has previously managed similar projects for Communispace, EDC, InterGen and World Energy.
