DiPrete Engineering’s Nisbet passes Professional Engineer exam
DiPrete Engineering" width="150" height="150" /> Dana Nisbet, DiPrete EngineeringProvidence, RI According to DiPrete Engineering, Dana Nisbet passed her Professional Engineer (PE) exam. Nisbet graduated from Manhattan College with a bachelor’s degree in 2010 and with a master’s degree in 2012, both in environmental engineering. Prior to joining DiPrete in January 2015, she worked at environmental consulting firms in Providence and New York.
“Becoming a PE was an important milestone in my career,” said Nisbet.
“This new certification will allow me to expand on my skillset and work toward my goal of one day becoming a project manager.”
The prerequisites required to sit for the PE exam include passing the EIT exam and three years of experience if the candidate has a Master’s degree. To prepare for the exam Dana created a study guide and took multiple practice tests, usually studying for about 15-20 hours per week.
“We are so proud of Dana’s hard work and determination,” said Dennis DiPrete, Principal of DiPrete Engineering. “We look forward to seeing her continue to make many successful contributions to our team here at DiPrete.”
