Diversified Project Management facilitates relocation of PCMM at Children's Hospital Boston

Diversified Project Management, Inc. (DPM) completed the relocation of The Program in Cellular and Molecular Medicine (PCMM) at Children's Hospital from Huntington Ave. to 55,000 s/f in the Center for Life Science, Boston. Formerly known as the Immune Disease Institute, PCMM is a non-profit biomedical research corporation affiliated with Harvard Medical School. The PCMM at Children's Hospital relocated four of their principal investigators, along with 15 additional staff members to a new, state of the art lab facility at Three Blackfan Circle in the Longwood Medical area. The DPM team provided design and construction oversight, budgeting, scheduling, FF&E coordination and move planning services. "DPM provided us with much needed support to execute the multiple moves. Project executive, John Waitkunas, was instrumental in helping us navigate through stringent lease requirements that resulted in cost savings for PCMM," said Ted Cronin, PCMM's president. In the past, DPM has managed relocation projects for Biogen, Brown University Life Sciences, EMD Lexigen Research Center, Exact Sciences and Wyeth.
