Elaine Construction hires Driscoll as project executive

Newton, MA Jim Driscoll has joined Elaine Construction Company as a project executive. Driscoll brings four decades of experience to his role, with a portfolio of large, out-of-the-ground institutional and commercial building projects, he will bring complimentary skills and expertise to Elaine’s growing academic, and corporate and commercial sectors.  As a seasoned builder, Driscoll will lead teams, and bring exceptional service through project delivery to our clients.

Prior to joining Elaine, Driscoll served in a variety of capacities from field to office for Gilbane Building Company, most recently as a senior project executive.  

“Jim’s ability to simplify the more complicated technical aspects of construction, communicate, and consistently deliver, make him an excellent addition to our growing team.  His leadership, commitment to mentorship, and enthusiasm for the business make him an exciting addition to Elaine’s team,” said Lisa Wexler, president of Elaine Construction.

Driscoll holds an associate degree in Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.  He holds a BS, in Civil Engineering from UMass. Lowell, and an MS in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from Northeastern University. He is a licensed builder in the cities of Boston Cambridge, and Quincy, holds his state of MA Superintendent’s License.  He is 30 Hour OSHA Certified and is a LEED AP.

Elaine Construction is a Newton-based construction management firm providing preconstruction, general contracting and construction management services to New England’s most prestigious organizations in the institutional, corporate and health care sectors for more than 65 years.
