The time to renovate the retail center at Lincoln Station is long overdue. In order to operate effectively, both the Post Office and supermarket currently onsite need to be renovated and expanded. In addition, the community has expressed a strong interest in creating a more enticing aesthetic for the mall overall. On September 24th, the community gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of the renovations and upgrades to the mall at Lincoln Station.
Erland Construction, Inc. was recently awarded this important project by Lincoln's Rural Land Foundation. When construction starts this month, work will include redeveloping the 33,400 s/f of existing buildings onsite, as well as building a new 10,000 s/f 2-story structure to house the Post Office and offices and a new 2,200 s/f building to house a new bistro. The existing supermarket will also be renovated and expanded. To keep the mall in operation during construction and maintain unimpeded access to the commuter rail station, work will be phased to ensure sufficient parking. Once most of construction is finished, the entire site will be landscaped.

This renovation project strikes a great balance between upgrading the site while maintaining local charm."
Teaming with Cresset Development, William Jackson Associates, and O'Neil Pennoyer Architects, Erland is scheduled to complete the Lincoln Station redevelopment project in one year.
