Fortunato Const. Group establishing itself as leader in the delivery of medical and healthcare facilities

During the last 20 years, Fortunato Construction Group has become well known in the arena of restaurant and retail construction, having established itself with many long term relationships and hundreds of projects with national and regional clients. At the same time, Fortunato has established itself as a leader in the delivery of medical and healthcare facilities throughout the region with an array of types and sizes of projects. Their resume includes new buildings, renovations, and "in service" renovations often requiring complex project scheduling. A sampling of their work includes patient wing renovations and other in-hospital work at The Hospital of Central Conn. and Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London, MRI facilities, imaging and radiology centers, outpatient clinics, physical therapy facilities, surgical centers, eye care centers, doctors offices, mental health facilities, dentists offices, veterinary clinics, health and wellness centers, VNA offices and health fitness centers. Fortunato has a track record of completing new and renovated dialysis centers. Nine facilities have now been built or are under construction throughout the northeast. Timely completion is a critical component of these projects to allow for the delivery of services to patients in need. Since 2004, Fortunato has been building and renovating surgical facilities for the Naugatuck Valley Surgical Center (NVSC) in Waterbury. The latest addition to the outpatient surgical center has expanded NVSC's capabilities to serve a greater population of patients while offering the most sophisticated equipment and operating rooms in the area. Fortunato is also completing a 30,000 s/f Medical Arts Center offering tenant suites for lease. The building is located with access to Rte. 9 and I-84 in New Britain.
