Boston, MA RODE Architects principal and director of interior design Jessica Haley has been awarded the 2022 Distinguished Alumni in Interior Architecture Award from the Boston Architectural College (BAC) Alumni Council for her exemplary accomplishments, service and commitment to the field of interior design. Haley earned her master’s in Interior Architecture from the BAC in 2012 and presently serves as an adjunct faculty member at the school.
Haley, who joined RODE in 2013, was recognized by the BAC for her depth of experience and originality, often combining tried and true design with an innovative approach. Haley has worked on projects in a variety of architectural sectors including hospitality, multi-family, corporate, complex institutional and academic research, with notable projects that include Bar Volpe, Cambria Hotel Boston Downtown-South Boston and The Lexington.

Haley holds a BFA in Fine Arts from The New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University, where she concentrated in figurative painting and sculpture. She is noted for her freeform approach to interior design and architecture, rooted in her deep love for the arts.
“I am grateful to be honored by the BAC for my work in interior design,” said Haley. “To still have a connection to the very school where my passion for interior design was fostered is truly humbling and I feel fortunate to be able to put that education into practice every day at RODE.”
Boston Architectural College is the first accredited architecture program with a work component in the US. Since the establishment of the program, BAC has introduced programs in interior architecture, landscape architecture, and design studies.
