Intercontinental Development recognized by Conn. Building Congress for Lot E Parking Garage

Connecticut Building Congress, Inc. honored the Intercontinental Developers, Lot E Parking Garage project with an award of merit in the new construction category (above $10 million construction cost).
Developer, Intercontinental Real Estate Corp.,construction manager, Gilbane Building Company, and architect, Spagnolo Gisness Associates, were all in attendance to accept the award.
The Lot E project included preconstruction and construction of a six-level, 845-car parking garage and a 75,000 s/f, three-story building which includes retail space and a 24-unit residential building adjacent to the Yale-New Haven Medical Center. The project has been endorsed and actively supported by the city of New Haven as a key economic development driver. The project is targeting LEED NC v2.2 Certification.
For the past 14 years, Connecticut Building Congress has been awarding outstanding projects that exemplify project team excellence, representing building owners, architects, engineers and constructors.
