J. Kerrigan, Dziamaand and V. Kerrigan of Avison Young lease 5,043 s/f

Avison Young (AY)represented non-profit organization Boston Cares in a new 5,043 s/f office lease at 90 Canal St., located in the North Station submarket. Boston Cares, a leader in the volunteer engagement sector, will relocate its headquarters from 190 High St. The long-term lease represents a 3,019 s/f expansion for the organization. The Avison Young team, led by principal Jack Kerrigan, vice president Justin Dziamaand associate Virginia Kerrigan, represented Boston Cares. Boston Realty Advisors represented the building's landlord, 90 Canal Street, LLC. "Due largely to the immense support provided by our dedicated volunteers and sponsors, our team is growing," said Boston Cares executive director Patrice Keegan. "Boston Cares' new headquarters accommodates this growth, and allows us to continue our mission of mobilizing and training volunteers who strengthen communities and improve the lives of people in need." 90 Canal St. is a six-story, 77,986 s/f office building that features a three-story, arched glass entrance. Tenants include Pierce, Davis & Perritano, LLP and Vantage Deluxe World Travel. "Avison Young is extremely pleased to work with and support this valuable agency. We share Boston Cares' mission to make a significant positive impact on the greater Boston community," said Kerrigan.
