Jewett Automotive Design and Construction contracted with Fenton Family to construct Subaru of Keene

Jewett Automotive Design and Construction has contracted with Fenton Family Dealerships / Subaru of Keene to construct a new, auto dealership from the former Keats Tractor Supply building at 11 Production Ave. This extensive project involves both interior and exterior renovations to the existing 12,600 s/f building; the addition of a 4,400 s/f steel framed mezzanine within the existing structure; and the construction of a 2,500 s/f, two-story showroom, steel-framed office, service write-up area and 400 s/f wash bay. Additional work includes renovation of the existing warehouse to accommodate a new 14-bay service center, as well as all new site lighting, parking and landscaping. All steel work will be performed by Jewett Metal Buildings & Steel Erectors. Both JMB and Jewett Automotive are divisions of Jewett Construction Company, Inc., a design-build/construction management firm specializing in commercial and industrial projects throughout the northeast. Other recent automotive clients include such well-known organizations as Foss Motors, Grappone Automotive Group, Team Nissan and RC Olsen Cadillac.
