Kenny and Hurley of Kinlin Grover Real Estate complete transaction

The established flower shop, Allen's House of Flowers at 426 Main St. has been sold to new owners who have a history in the floral business. New owner Charles Crespi, with the assistance of Jen Schissler, look forward to preserving the high standard of design and customer satisfaction developed by Allen Rush in his family business over the last thirty years. Antonia Kenny and Sue Hurley of Kinlin Grover Real Estate were the commercial agents for the transaction which has transferred the reins of this well-known shop at 426 Main St. Rush will remain on with the business as a floral designer, but will take a step back from the day-to-day operations. Crespi is looking forward to expanding Allen's House of Flowers' Internet presence and possibly expanding to satellite stores in the future. Designer Schissler brings her creativity and expertise in floral design to the arrangements prepared by the shop.

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
