Klemmer, Brodigan and Driscoll of Colliers International handle 25,000 s/f lease on behalf of the landlord, Simboli Properties

Chelsea, MA Building upon the success of the programs at its existing Bellingham Sq. campus, Bunker Hill Community College has signed a 25,000 s/f lease, allowing it to fully relocate its campus to 70 Everett Ave. The new site will provide four times as many parking spaces for students while still being a short walking distance from several bus stops and the train station on the Newbury/Rockport commuter rail line. In addition, the college’s main Charlestown campus also provides shuttle service between the two locations for maximum connectivity.

In representing the landlord, Simboli Properties, executive vice president Greg Klemmer, vice president Tim Brodigan, and associate Dan Driscoll of Colliers International were able to lock Bunker Hill into space that accommodates its needs but also provides opportunities for future growth in the 91,000 s/f, five-story 70 Everett Ave. as well as in Simboli’s four-building campus as a whole.

Brodigan said, “The space was formerly home to Everest Institute and therefore reconfigured very easily for Bunker Hill’s classroom operations.”
