Leathers joins AlliedCook as senior project manager

Kathryn Leathers has joined AlliedCook Construction as senior project manager.
Leathers brings nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry. She has a wealth of construction management experience in a diverse range of projects ranging in size from $100,000 to over $11 million. Leathers' expertise also includes a significant amount of experience as an owner's representative, giving her a unique understanding of the issues and challenges from the client's perspective.
Her construction management experience includes projects for academic, healthcare, research and development and industrial/manufacturing clients. She has guided complex projects from conceptual design through preconstruction, purchasing, construction, financial management to project close-out.
Her recent project management experience includes new multi-million dollar educational and healthcare facilities in Connecticut. At AlliedCook, Leathers is currently serving as project manager for Husson University's new Living Learning Center in Bangor. Leathers received a BSCE in Structural Engineering with a minor in construction management from Princeton University. She is a member of the Construction Managers Association of America (CMAA) and the Maine Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
