Marian Manor for the Aged and Infirm said that Colliers Meredith & Grew has been named the project manager for its new continuing care retirement community (CCRC) to be built at Quarry Hills. Colliers Meredith & Grew (CMG) will be advising on all aspects of the project including Stella Maris, the independent living component, the new Marian Manor nursing facility and Memorare, the memory support assisted living wing which will be built on the property. The project, sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, presents an expansion of the mission begun by the Sisters at Marian Manor in South Boston more than 50 years ago.
CMG's development & advisory services group will serve as the overall development manager for Marian Manor.  As the owner's representative, CMG will manage and coordinate the project's design, budget, schedule and permitting, financing and marketing efforts.
"Our role is to make sure that project development continues to move forward in a smooth and timely fashion," said Dan Quinn, executive vice president of CMG. "We are proud to be associated with Marian Manor and excited to work with this great team."
Stella Maris is a senior living independent community to be located next to the Granite Links Golf Course. The community will include 159 apartments with a variety of floor plans for residents to choose. The community also offers such exciting amenities as an indoor pool, on-campus chapel, library, auditorium, café, fitness studio, private dining room, beauty salon and wellness center.
The new CCRC will include 22 memory-supported assisted living units in the section known as "Memorare" and 245 skilled nursing beds in the nursing home section. The new skilled nursing facility will include a short-term rehabilitation unit and a dementia unit, in addition to traditional long-term care services.
"Our mission is to preserve the independence and personal dignity of the elderly and to meet their continuously changing needs. We are excited about giving seniors a wonderful option for independent living," said Sister Mark Louis Randall, administrator of Marian Manor. "Stella Maris will be a unique community and we are pleased with the progress we have made over the last several months. We welcome CMG to our team. As we take our vision forward, we invite seniors to place their faith in our special retirement lifestyle, where they can live independently in a spiritual community while having access to health care and other amenities that enhance their daily lives."
