North Branch building 31-unit Salmon Brook Senior Housing

Salmon Brook Senior Housing - Nashua, NH Salmon Brook Senior Housing - Nashua, NH

Nashua, NH North Branch Construction continues construction of the new 3-story, 31-unit Salmon Brook Senior Housing facility on Lovell St. The roofing structure installation is now complete. Structural roof sections, trusses, and plywood sheathing were assembled on the ground, complete with hardware connections and painted roof trim. The method of assembly at ground level makes for an overall safer build for the carpenters assembling the structure. Six 30’x30’ sections were assembled in this pre-fabricated fashion and hoisted onto the building and set in place with a 120 ton crane. Site utilities and base paving are complete and rough plumbing is underway. Other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades will start once the building is water-tight – this month. Construction remains on schedule and will continue throughout the winter and spring with completion expected in June.

Design for the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority funded project sponsored by Southern New Hampshire Services (SNHS) Management Corp. is being provided by David M. White Architecture.
