Hopkinton, MA NorthBridge CRE Advisors, LLC has closed on the $37.5 million acquisition of PerkinElmer’s Life Science Center, a two building complex totaling 198,336 s/f consisting of lab, high tech manufacturing, and office uses located at 68 & 78 Elm St. NorthBridge is a Boston-based real estate investment and advisory firm co-founded by managing partners Greg Lauze and Dean Atkins in the fall of 2014. Since inception, NorthBridge has acquired 3 assets totaling over $50 million including (in addition to PerkinElmer’s Life Science Center), 30 Burlington Mall Rd. in Burlington, Mass. and Dedham Corporate Center located near Legacy Place in Dedham, Mass.

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s capital markets team of Robert Griffin, Edward Maher, Matthew Pullen, and Samantha Hallowell marketed the property on behalf of the seller, US Realty Advisors, LLC. Additionally, Transwestern/RBJ’s capital markets team of Christopher Skeffington and Andrew Stone helped source the acquisition financing through Blue Hills Bank, headquartered in Hyde Park, Mass.

The PerkinElmer Life Science Center is a two building life science complex located at the interchange of I-495 and The Mass Pike (Rte. 90). PerkinElmer has dubbed the complex their Center for Excellence, the hub of the company’s life sciences division encompassing specialized improvements to facilitate the firm’s research, development, testing, manufacturing, distribution and corporate capabilities.

NorthBridge CRE Advisors, LLC is a Boston based commercial real estate investment and advisory firm co-founded by Managing Partners Greg Lauze and Dean Atkins. The firm focuses on principal real estate investing in the Greater Boston/New England area and real estate advisory services for local, national and international clients. Since its formation in the Fall of 2014 the firm has acquired over $50 million in real estate assets and completed numerous advisory assignments ranging from small Massachusetts based businesses to major Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Lauze has a background in real estate acquisitions, asset management and capital fundraising previously with private equity real estate firms, Colony Capital in Boston and The Blackstone Group in New York. Mr. Atkins has a background in corporate real estate law, commercial real estate brokerage, and real estate consulting. He was previously was an attorney in the commercial real estate group at Mintz Levin before most recently leading National & International Accounts at Transwestern / RBJ.
