Nuss of Jay Nuss Realty Group brokers $2.65 million sale of 28 York Avenue

Randolph, MA The 42,500 s/f industrial building, together with 2.73 acres of land at 28 York Ave. has been sold by Dacom Realty, Inc. to Fe Melville, LLC. Melville Candy plans to relocate its corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility from Weymouth to the new facility in early 2017 upon completing retrofitting the building for its candy manufacturing operations.

Melville Candy was represented by Jay Nuss of Jay Nuss Realty Group, LLC while the seller was represented by Taber Keally of M. Donahue Associates, Inc.

According to the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds, the consideration paid for the property was $2.65 million.

Melville Candy is a 35-year-old family-owned and operated business, which creates gourmet custom-shaped barley lollipops, using a 75-year-old formula developed by Francis “Ed” Melville. The company manufactures many unique items, like Clover Honey spoons and Chocolate Caramel spoons, to name a few. Unlike mass-produced candy, each item is handmade and hand-packed before it is inspected for shipment.
