Able Engineering Services president Paul Saccone, in response to a growing Boston area client base, has named John Paras manager of the company's Boston operations. The company, which first entered the Boston market in 2007, recently expanded its market presence when it was retained by Boston Properties for The Prudential Center. Able Engineering Services provides on-site engineering services including HVAC, mechanical and preventative maintenance.
"Over the last two years, Able Engineering has gained a significant foothold in the Boston area based on our proven expertise in commercial real estate, life sciences, universities, and the hospitality industry," said Saccone. "Our asset preservation programs, energy management system optimization, and green initiative programs, in particular, are highly valued by our customers for their contribution to the bottom line as well as environmental health."
Saccone, who is a Boston native, and new manager Paras have strong local ties. Saccone, formerly national vice president of Engineering and Energy at Equity Office, was previously director of hotel operations at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Boston and director of engineering operations for the Saunders Hotel Group. Paras was most recently site facilities operations manager at Gillette Stadium. Paras will be located at Able Engineering office at The Prudential Center.
Able Engineering Services began providing engineering services to The Prudential Center in November. To this complex facility, Able Engineering brings comprehensive energy expertise and its core values of energy conservation and controlling operating costs.
