Procaccianti Companies renovates Holiday Inn South Kingstown

South Kingstown, RI Procaccianti Companies renovated the Holiday Inn South Kingstown, 3009 Tower Hill Rd. TPG Construction, the firm’s construction management affiliate, managed the entire renovation process, and the hotel will continue to be managed by TPG Hotels & Resorts, the firm’s hospitality management subsidiary.

Acquired by the firm in the early 1980s, the Holiday Inn South Kingstown is located near the intersection of Rte. 138 and Rte 1 in the village of Saunderstown. The renovation focused on upgrading guestrooms and public spaces to align with brand standards while improving operational efficiency and guest flow, including refreshed guestrooms, upgraded soft goods and finishes, and improvements to common areas and meeting space.

“South Kingstown continues to benefit from a diverse mix of university, leisure, and regional corporate demand,” said John Whitehead, general manager of the Holiday Inn South Kingstown. “This renovation allows us to elevate the guest experience, maintain strong brand alignment while improving the property’s ability to compete for both transient and group business. We look forward to showcasing our renovated property to returning guests and welcoming new guests to experience our exceptional property and outstanding hotel team.”

The four-story, 107-room Holiday Inn South Kingstown (Newport area) Hotel offers on-site parking, an on-site restaurant and lounge, a fitness center, and a resort-style pool. The pet-friendly hotel offers five ADA-compliant guestrooms. The property offers proximity to the University of Rhode Island and local beaches.
