What inspired you to pursue a career in this industry, and what path brought you to your current role? My educational background is in engineering, but I was always drawn to the people and collaboration behind the work. I’ve always been motivated by the idea of creating spaces that bring people together and support how they live and work. To me, that is what commercial real estate is all about.

I was introduced to construction at a young age, spending summers working for my parents’ landscape construction company. That experience gave me a strong appreciation for hands-on work and how projects come together.
What inspired you to pursue a career in commercial real estate, and what path brought you to your current role? My inspiration was a long-time broker in Connecticut by the name of Bernard Mussman. Bernie, as most people knew him, did everything out of the truck of his old Jaguar. He taught me a lot about people, negotiation, patience and more. After learning from Bernie, I did work in the for profit, non-profit sectors

Growing up, I was exposed to commercial real estate through my dad, who began as a developer before moving into brokerage. Seeing the strategy, negotiation, and real-world impact of his work sparked my early interest.

I’ve had the chance to work on a wide variety of projects throughout my career, from smaller office renovations/fit outs to more complex adaptive reuse conversions. Growing up around the industry through my family gave me an early sense that real estate was somewhere I could build a real career. That curiosity grew at UMass Amherst, where business and real estate coursework turned an instinct into
