Sears appointed sales manager at William Raveis Real Estate Massachusetts' Lexington office

According to Chris Raveis, executive vice president and managing partner of William Raveis Real Estate Massachusetts, David Sears has been apointed as sales manager. "We extend a warm welcome to David and are delighted to have him as a member of our William Raveis management team," said Raveis. "David and our firm share many of the same values, including an extremely strong customer orientation. He is a talented professional with a reputation for integrity and hard work and has a keen familiarity with the state of Massachusetts." David has a unique, long-standing relationship with the Bay State, as he can trace his lineage there back to 1632 when members of his family arrived in Massachusetts from England. "Living in Massachusetts my whole life, I have a great comfort level with the state, which will translate to clients. I am excited to bring my passion for the state to my position as Sales Manager." David has a powerful business philosophy for his team at Lexington. "I am looking to excel at and deliver high quality customer service to the agents and consumers they serve. Mission #1 will be to develop the agents' business and further enhance agent productivity using the wide array of cutting-edge marketing and technology tools William Raveis provides." David continues to build upon a successful career in real estate. He began his career in the field in 2003 with Century 21 and has since developed a specialty in antique homes and equine properties. David is a CBR and is a member of the National Association of Realtors. He has also been an active member of Rotary International since 2007, where he currently serves as the first Vice President. David resides in Brimfield, Massachusetts with his wife of 30 years, Mary, daughters Jessica and Valerie and son Thayer David Jr. Since first entering the Massachusetts marketplace in 2003, William Raveis has experienced phenomenal growth. In 2007, the company opened four new offices in Brookline, Marblehead, Orleans, Osterville, with statewide sales volume jumping 48% from the previous year. In 2008, the company launched two additional offices in Falmouth and Scituate. In 2009, the company added new offices in Chatham, Eastham, Orleans and Natick making William Raveis Real Estate the largest independent real estate firm in Massachusetts. Currently, the company has 21 offices and over 500 sales associates in Massachusetts.
