Seligson Properties breaks ground on $50m healthcare redevelopment
Norwalk, CT Seligson Properties broke ground on the second phase of the new $50 million healthcare hub to be built at 32 Knight St., allowing Hartford HealthCare to expand access to affordable care in Fairfield County. The adaptive reuse of the one-story commercial building, formerly occupied by home furnishing business Lillian August, at the intersection of US-1 and Knight St. is being redeveloped into a 47,000 s/f medical office building.
Richetelli of Colonial Properties completes two transactions totaling 5,800 s/f
Clinton, CT Michael Richetelli, president and designated broker of Colonial Properties, Inc., has completed the following transactions. ichetelli represented the seller, Liberato Pelosi, in the sale of 120 E. Main St.; a 3,800 s/f multi-tenant mixed-use investment property on .31 acres for $575,000. The buyer, Matt Hikmet Sahintepe, was represented by Jacqueline Hoyt of Coldwell Banker Realty. The seller’s attorney was Norman Fishbein.

Matt Nadler, Jack Laurendeau, and Rob DiFranco of Horvath & Tremblay have completed the sale of the Agway and Dunkin’. Horvath & Tremblay exclusively represented the seller and procured the buyer to complete the transaction at a sale price of $5.9 million.
Dakota Partners closes on Oxoboxo Lofts - 100,000 s/f conversion project
Montville, CT Oxoboxo Lofts, a new community located in the Uncasville area and bordered by the Thames River, has secured all financing and approvals to close on the project. The 72-home property will feature affordable, workforce, and market-rate housing with a mix of income restrictions including 25%, 50% and 60% of the Area Median Income. Local residents who qualify will be eligible to participate in a lottery drawing. Dakota Partners closed the sale.
Cushman & Wakefield procures $223.869m in refinancing for four building portfolio - provided by Greystone
Stamford, CT Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) served as the exclusive advisor to the ownership group in the procurement of a combined $223.869 million for the refinancing of the Harbor Point portfolio, a four-building, 989-unit multifamily portfolio located at 301 Commons Park South, 111 Towne St., 110 Towne St. and 120 Towne St. The Freddie Mac financing was provided by Greystone.
Beverly Willis, architect and founder of National Building Museum, passes away at 95
Branford, CT Beverly Willis FAIA, born February 17, 1928, an American architect who played a major role in the development of many architectural concepts and practices that influenced the design of cities and buildings, died Sunday morning Oct. 1st, due to complications of Parkinson’s disease.

Southbury, CT The land parcel at the corner of I-84 and Rte. 67 consisting of 7.5 acres has been sold by Arnold Peck of Arnold Peck’s Commercial World for $700,000. This land had been for sale for years and it was a challenge to locate the right developer and use for the land sitting at the four-way interchange of Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven, and SMSA.
