Skanska sells 17-story 400,342 s/f 121 Seaport for $455 million - sale arranged by Maher, Pullen and Tribble of NKF

Boston, MA Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) has completed the $455 million all cash sale of 121 Seaport in the Seaport District, to a joint venture between American Realty Advisors and Norges Bank Real Estate Management. On behalf of Skanska, vice chairman Edward Maher, executive managing director Matthew Pullen and managing director James Tribble of NKF’s Boston Capital Markets team oversaw the transaction of the newly-constructed, 17-story, 400,342 s/f office tower.

Gibbons of ABG Commercial Realty brokers $13.5 million sale

Somerville, MA Bernard Gibbons of ABG Commercial Realty brokered the sale of 111-153 South St. for $13.5 million. The property was purchased by DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners from JJ Vacaro, Inc. 111-153 South St. is a 3.44 acre development site in the Boynton Yards area of the city, located south of Union Sq. and its new MBTA Green Line Extension Station.

Harold Brown of The Hamilton Co. inducted into NEREJ Blue Jacket Club at second annual Changing World of Commercial Real Estate Summit

Needham, MA The New England Real Estate Journal (NEREJ) held its second annual “Changing World of Commercial Real Estate” summit on December 6th at the Sheraton Needham Hotel, 100 Cabot St. The event also honored Harold Brown, chairman emeritus of The Hamilton Company, with an induction into the NEREJ’s Blue Jacket Club. He was also presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
