What are you most looking forward to post-pandemic? In addition to spending time with my family and friends, I am actually looking forward to returning to the office and seeing everyone in person! Working from home has its conveniences
What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? Construction on my first two playground projects for Boston Parks was completed in late 2020 and opened to very eager children.
Why should women consider a career in the A/E/C industry? Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had once said, “Women belong in all places decisions are being made.” The A/E/C industry plays a key role in creating the spaces in which we all live
Why should women consider a career in the A/E/C industry? Women have a different way of thinking. Bringing this into a “male-dominated” field will help teams achieve their goals and deliver a quality project to the owner.
What are you most looking forward to post-pandemic? Being able to spend more time on the jobsite and have meetings in person. It is much easier to build relationships and develop a strong project team dynamic when in person.
How have you adapted and changed in the last 12 months? I’m an extrovert, so working from home is against my grain. I like quick desk check ins to review design, give comments and make sure all is on track.
What are you most looking forward to post-pandemic? A large part of my role is building relationships. The conventional way of doing that was truly challenged during the pandemic. Therefore post-pandemic, I’m looking forward to meeting
