SIOR New England hosts 3rd Annual Gold Outing July 23

Rumford, RI The New England Chapter held its 3rd Annual Golf Outing on July 23, at the Wannamoisett Country Club. The event sponsors include: DACON, DPM, Vantage Builders and Patridge Snow & Hahn, LLP. The chapter would like to thank the  sponsors. The event was by invitation only and served as a scholarship event. The scholarship event is held in the fall in which a grant is giving to an up and coming commercial real estate young broker. The grant money can be used to attend an SIOR national convention or towards a SIOR national designation educational event. Over 60 people participated in the golf outing on a great weather day. The registration and lunch commenced at 11:30 a.m. with a full buffet and take-out lunch with drinks. Tee-off was at 1:15 p.m. as a shotgun start and best ball format. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed at 5:30 p.m. At the cocktail reception the winners of the gold outing were announced.

On behalf of the SIOR New England chapter, they would like to thank attendees for your participation in the 2018 Invitational Golf Tournament. Additionally with your support, they raised $1,500 for the MIT Center for Real Estate Scholarship. They will present the scholarship this fall in collaboration with MIT Center for Real Estate.
