Boston, MA RE&FA’s spring and summer programming continued to highlight the trends and issues shaping the commercial real estate industry. In May, RE&FA hosted Data Centers in the Current CRE Landscape at The Retreat at 225 Franklin St. The program drew strong engagement and fostered thoughtful discussion around one of commercial real estate’s fastest-growing and most impactful sectors.

June got off to a very good start for ABC Massachusetts when our Gould Construction Institute (GCI) was awarded a $225,000 grant over three years from the Cummings Foundation to create a “High School-to-Career Pathways in the Skilled Trades” pilot program, which will target 25-30 students per year in six Middlesex County high schools.

In 2026, ASM launched its Build the Future Awards, a new initiative designed to support and recognize the next generation of construction professionals across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Through this effort, ASM partnered with six vocational-technical high schools to provide a $500 award to a graduating student at each school who plans to enter the construction trades.
