Hopkinton, MA SVN Parsons Commercial Group - Boston has leased nine suites at 34 Hayden Rowe St., bringing the 50,366 s/f building to 100% occupancy on behalf of the landlord, Riverside Properties, Inc. The team, which consisted of advisors, Marilyn Santiago, Garrett Quinn and Trevor Holmes, were hired to lease the property in August 2021.

Framingham, MA Marcus & Millichap has sold a 40,000 s/f industrial property. The asset sold for $2.5 million. “The building is a great representation of Framingham, having transitioned from manufacturing to a variety of creative uses,” said Harrison Klein, first vice president investments.

Salem, NH Colliers has leased 6,870 s/f to Optima Dermatology & Medical Aesthetics at 31 Stiles Rd.  Hugo Overdeput and Andrew Robbins, of Colliers’ Manchester office, represented the landlord and Sean McQuaid, of Eastern Retail Properties, Inc., represented the tenant in the transaction. 

Newton, MA The SIOR New England Chapter held its annual golf outing on May 17, 2023 at Brae Burn Country Club. It was also a joint event with Dacon as a charitable event. Approximately 40 SIORs and guests attended the golf outing and the reception. Jeremy Freid, chapter president welcomed everyone prior to the scramble kick out.

Wellesley, MA Shawmut Design and Construction broke ground on the new 80,000 s/f Hardy Elementary School. Boston, MA SALMON Health and Retirement’s chief future officer and third-generation owner, Andrew Salmon, has been appointed to the board of directors of MassDevelopment. MassDevelopment,  the state’s development finance agency and land bank, works with businesses, nonprofits, and banks to stimulate economic growth.

Allston, MA JLL’s Capital Markets group has arranged a $750 million construction loan for the first phase of the Enterprise Research Campus, a 900,000 s/f, mixed-use development located near Harvard University. The $750 million loan represents one of the country’s largest construction loans closed year-to-date 2023.
