Worcester, MA DPS Group and Hodess Cleanroom Construction have completed a proprietary cell therapy manufacturing facility for Mustang Bio, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. Mustang Bio engaged Hodess as prime consultant on the design/build project, and Hodess selected DPS Group for its depth of experience designing current cGMP manufacturing facilities. DPS Group’s Boston office provided architectural and engineering services for the new facility.

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) recently presented a summary of the proposed amendments to the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) regulations (310 CMR 40.0000) at a recent meeting of the Environmental Business Council (EBC) of New England. Portland, ME Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. (HFF) completed the sale of a fully approved hotel development site at the former Rufus Deering Lumber Co. in downtown. The HFF team represented the seller, Reger Dasco Properties, and procured the buyer/developer Norwich Partners, LLC.

Milford, CT According to Barbara Pearce, CEO and president of Pearce Real Estate, John Bergin, senior commercial specialist for Pearce Commercial, has sold the 5,807 s/f industrial structure at 20-26 Quirk Rd. for $470,000. The building contains two units, one leased by a medical laboratory and the other to be used by the buyer. The property sits on .45 acres. 

Cambridge, MA SVN | Parsons Commercial Group | Boston has completed the $2.9 million sale of 136 Appleton St., also known as The Sabbatical House. The demand from investors was extremely strong for an asset of this caliber. Senior commercial real estate advisors, Marci Alvarado, Marilyn Santiago and Jake Parsons of SVN | Parsons represented the seller, Diane Cotman. The buyers were Scott Root and Cocoa Cailer, and were represented by Coldwell Banker, Cambridge.

Framingham, MA The city of Framingham has granted an exclusive two-year license to bicycle share provider Zagster, setting the stage to begin operation of its “Pace” service in the spring. Pace is a new, modern bike share service for cities and colleges powered by Zagster. Pace will begin a pilot project with at least 50 bikes across the city and scale up to match rider demand.
