I reread an article I wrote three years ago entitled “Appraisers in a Box.” The article discussed that “[r]eal estate professionals are finding it increasingly difficult to carry out professional responsibilities in an increasingly competitive and regulatory stifling environment.” The professionals include those in conveyancing, brokerage, and appraisal.

There are several protocols for addressing the carbon impact of design and development, the most well-known being LEED, and Passivhaus (on this side of the pond, Passive House Institute US). Here are some things to consider – and we’ll highlight a common sense third way.

The property, located at 36 Executive Dr., features 32’ clear height, 40x40 column spacing, and ample loading and trailer parking.  There is 95,000 s/f of available space at the property. 

Milford, NH On behalf of LNR as special servicer, JLL’s Retail Capital Markets team completed the sale of Lordens Plaza  to Seattle-based Bridge33 Capital for an undisclosed amount.

Manchester, NH Colliers International, a global leader in commercial real estate services, has leased 22,000 s/f at the Sundial Center to Ameri-Health Caritas. Doug Martin, of Colliers’ Manchester office, represented the landlord

Laconia, NH Rick Hagan of Roche Realty Group represented the seller, Lakes Region Mental Health of their former headquarters at 111 Church St. and John Goodhue of Roche Realty Group represented the buyer, DASLTK, LLC in the undisclosed sale of a 2-story professional office building.

It seems that everyone I speak with in the CRE industry in New England continues to be busier than ever. Certainly a good problem to have, although it makes it tough to find time for a summer break.  

Portsmouth, NH The Kane Company was joined by business partners, team members, and local supporters, as they raised the beam on a 65,000 s/f class A medical office building. The Kane Co. teamed up with long-time design-build partner PROCON
